Youth Services is licensed through the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services. (T.Y.S.) services the Central Virginia Area.

T.O.D.A.Y.S. Youth Services provides short term, mental health, and community-based services to aid clients in the achievement of their individual goals. Most therapeutic positions require a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in the field of Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or related field (Criminal Justice & Education).

T.O.D.A.Y.S. Youth Services is currently excepting applications for the following positions: (All positions are full time)

In-home Counselor – In-home Counselors must hold a bachelors degree from an accredited institution in the field of social work, psychology, sociology or related field with 1 – 3 years of experience working with at-risk children/families. Services are provided in the client’s home and community setting. (Salary Range: $35,000 – $40,000 based on work experience and education)

In-home Duties

  1. Develop client ISP, Monthly Report and maintain other vital documents

  2. Provide redirection and de-escalation techniques for the client/family

  3. Build positive relationships with client’s and maintain professional relationship w/parents and school officials

  4. Provide individual and group counseling sessions

 

Day Treatment Mental Health Counselor – Day Treatment Counselors must hold a bachelors degree from an accredited institution in the field of social work, psychology, sociology or related field with 1 – 3 years of experience working with at-risk children/families. Services are provided during the school day. (Salary Range: $33,000 – $37,000 based on work experience and education)

Day Treatment Duties

  1. Develop client ISP, Monthly Report and maintain other vital documents

  4. Provide individual and group counseling sessions
