T.O.D.A.Y.S. Youth Services was founded on the principle of RECIPROCITY and giving back to the communities we serve. The “core principles” of our agency are collaboration and opportunity. We provide short term, mental health, community based services to achieve the client’s goals. Our agency provides a variety of therapeutic services to include: In-home Counseling, School Based Day Treatment, & Therapeutic Mentoring. These services identify and assist the client in the reduction of inappropriate actions, maintenance of baseline behaviors, and improvement in their ability to interact with adults and peers. Services are designed to equip clients with the necessary skills to be productive citizens.
Our primary goals are to identify at-risk youth and families, and to provide quality services which are designed to strengthen and preserve the families while maintaining individuals at home and in their community. In doing so, we work to preserve and reunite the core family, assist families to develop appropriate boundaries while decreasing inappropriate behaviors, intervene in the school setting where needed, and provide ongoing structure and support to the entire family.
Through our various partnerships, T.O.D.A.Y.S. Youth Services is able to support its mission of community collaboration. We believe the linkage of community resources and services are essential to the success of youth and their families. T.O.D.A.Y.S. Youth Services is licensed through the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services. Our affiliations also include:
